Santa Clara, Calif. -- Apr. 21, 2011 -- Extreme DA^™, the leader in IC sign-off analysis software today announced the appointment of Carlo Boggiali as Vice-President, Sales for Europe, located at Extreme’s offices in Milan, Italy.  Boggiali’s appointment is effective immediately and he is responsible for managing sales to leading fabless and OEM semiconductor companies in the European region.

Mr. Boggiali is an executive with over 20 years experience in software sales.  Most recently, as Senior Director at Synopsys, he was in charge of the world-wide sales activity for Europe¹s leading OEM semiconductor companies as well as the Southern Europe territory and expansion into the Middle East.  He was also responsible for establishing and growing the sales office in Italy to a team of 25 people over a period of 12 years. Prior to Synopsys, Boggiali held sales management positions at Daisy, Texas Instruments and Fairchild.
