March 30, 2010 -- SuperGeo Technologies, the leading global provider of complete GIS software and solutions, successfully promoted SuperPad 3, the full-function Mobile GIS Software, to National Institute of Livestock and Grassland Science (NILGS) in Japan. NILGS belongs to National Agriculture and Food Research Organization (NARO), which aims to contribute to the solutions of environmental problems and also an affluent society in Japan by using related technologies.
Through the effort of Bizworks, SuperGeo’s reseller in Japan, NILGS purchased SuperPad 3 to assist field surveyors in effective data-collection. With the upgraded functions in SuperPad 3, such as enhanced GPS support, professional editing functions, and advanced attribute editing function, NILGS is able to record and collect the data of land resources, grassland growth and distribution, in order to research more suitable environment and feed for the livestock. This would ultimately benefit the production of high-quality and safe food for the Japanese society.
Bizworks has had great sales performance mainly in the higher educational institutes in Japan. This time, Bizworks extends its territory to other organizations. SuperGeo is going to launch more updated functions and software products next month, to help global resellers better market SuperGIS serial products worldwide.
