April 25, 2007-- During the world-wide Business Partner Conference 2007 in Palm Springs, CA, ESRI Inc. selected its strategic partner AED-SICAD for this year’s Foundation Partner Award. This prize category is awarded to ESRI partners who showed special commitment in setting up a strong, close and lasting cooperation between the companies. Partners like AED-SICAD are the foundation on which the comprehensive ESRI Partner Program is built.
On March 18, 2007, Jack Dangermond, founder and president of ESRI Inc., personally handed over the Foundation Partner Award to AED-SICAD’s board members, who were all present. Dangermond thanked the company and its employees for their continuous effort in the development and marketing of new ArcGIS based solutions and stressed the successful cooperation over the years.
AED-SICAD is strategic partner of ESRI for the business segments land management and utilities. Already in March 2004, AED-SICAD has been awarded as “Partner of the Year”.
The official statement for choosing AED-SICAD for the award is as follows:
“Since becoming a business partner in 2001, AED-SICAD has established itself as the largest solution reseller for ESRI Geoinformatik GmbH as well as ESRI's most strategic partner in the European utility and land management markets. This success results directly from AED-SICAD's strong efforts in reengineering former proprietary but well-introduced market solutions on the modern ArcGIS standard technology platform. By focusing on the utility and land management sectors, AED-SICAD is able to leverage its experience through the development of a family of products that encompasses the best practices in each industry within a highly configurable enterprise system.
AED-SICAD knows that the business success and ongoing growth of the ArcGIS customer base is caused by not only the migration of existing clients but also winning more and more new major customers. With this award ESRI is recognizing five years of strong technical and business development work and carrying the spirit of ESRI to new customers in the utility and land management markets.”
