While Vista is offered under an annual time-based license, Vista-PE's licensing model is perpetual. Personal copies of Vista-PE can be purchased online for the low, introductory price of US$1,995 for a node-locked license. Vista-PE includes email and web-based support. Vista-PE is available on Linux and Solaris platforms.
