Description: One challenging aspect of PCB design is to minimize the effects of electromagnetic interference (EMI) and to ensure electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). EMPro allows you to simulate the electromagnetic emissions from your PCB at different frequencies, as well as simulate the susceptibility of your design to outside sources of EM emissions. You can even analyze the impact of placing your PCB design inside different metal enclosures.
This video illustrates the use of full 3D FDTD EM simulation technology in EMPro to analyze EMI and EMC of a PCB inside a metal chassis.
