Gatineau, July 5th 2011 – DBx GEOMATICS today announced the newest release of its thematic web mapping solution, CartoVista 3.1. New and enhanced features focus on data management and display, thematic analysis configuration and real-time data updates.
CartoVista 3.1 now offers the option to thematically map regions with different fill patterns, adding to an already rich array of thematic mapping possibilities. With the map selection dynamically connected to animated histograms and pie charts, data is available for analysis more easily than ever before.
Making the solution even more user-friendly, the CartoVista Publisher now enables users to save a map’s thematic setup during the creation of the map. The saved theme set will be automatically displayed when the mapping application is opened.
The CartoVista Publisher also features improvements such as the ability to work with multiple maps simultaneously and enhanced data management. Additional tile providers (CartoVista, IGN, ESRI ArcGIS) have been added to Google, Bing and Yahoo Maps to allow users an even greater choice in base map layers.
