Houston, TX, USA (March 22, 2011) – Trelligence, Inc. announced that its industry-leading architectural programming and design tool, Trelligence Affinity™, is now fully compliant with the latest version of the COBie2 specifications.  COBIE (Construction Operations Building Information Exchange) is a set of IFC-based open standards created to facilitate the exchange of data between diverse applications along the architectural plan-design-build-operate continuum.  The development of the IFC (Industry Foundations Classes) has been a major effort of the IAI (International Alliance for Interoperability) for a number of years.  With the addition of the ability to import, export, and store data in the COBie2 format, Affinity continues to expand its functionality as a data translation and aggregation tool for the AEC industry.

Affinity has long set the standard as a software tool for performing all the steps of the architectural programming and schematic design process.  In addition, Affinity is increasingly being recognized for its ability to provide repository and data translation capability across the entire architectural process, from beginning to end.
