Bluespec Demonstrates Industry’s First Synthesizable Virtual Platform™ at DAC

Top Executive to Participate in High-Level Synthesis Panel

WALTHAM, Mass. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — June 11, 2010 — Bluespec Inc., the Synthesizable Modeling Company, will demonstrate the industry’s first Synthesizable Virtual Platform in Booth #1476 during the 47th Design Automation Conference (DAC) 2010. DAC runs June 13-18 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif.

Bluespec will be featuring synthesizable models and test benches running on FPGA boards and powerful debug capabilities for effective development in high-speed emulation. One demo will highlight the industry’s only Synthesizable Virtual Platform, consisting of a synthesizable ARM ISS-based SoC subsystem that can run alongside production RTL at 10s of MHz speeds. The second demo will showcase a synthesizable model for a complex IP block running at 50 MHz in emulation only six weeks after specification.

Rishiyur Nikhil, Bluespec’s chief technical officer, will participate in the panel, “What Input Language is the Best Choice for High-Level Synthesis (HLS)?” June 17th, from 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. in room 207AB.

Contact Bluespec’s Vice President of Marketing George Harper to schedule a demonstration. He can be reached at (781) 250-2200 or via email at Email Contact.

About Bluespec

Bluespec is The Synthesizable Modeling Company™. With Bluespec, models and test benches can be synthesized along with legacy IP to employ emulation much earlier for modeling, verification and early software development. Bluespec makes emulation much easier, more affordable, and deployable from concept to volume silicon. With the only solutions built on atomic transactions, proven technology for managing and simplifying large-scale hardware concurrency, Bluespec provides the only general-purpose, high-level synthesis toolset for any use model (models, testbenches, production IP) and design type (datapath, control, interconnect).
