Informative Graphics CEO Gary Heath Joins Avolve Software Technology Board; Companies to Co-Develop Exclusive Innovations for Avolve’s ProjectDox® ePlan Solution
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — April 27, 2010 — Avolve Software Corporation, developers of ProjectDox® communication and collaboration software and the leading provider of ePlan submission, review and tracking solutions for state and local government nationwide, announced today that Informative Graphics Corporation (IGC), the makers of the visualization industry-leading Brava!® Enterprise software, has entered into a broad technology partnership with the Company. The agreement places Gary Heath, Founder and CEO of Informative Graphics, on the Avolve Software Technology Advisory Board, and includes co-development of new innovations to IGC’s Brava platform to further enhance ePlan review efficiency exclusively within Avolve’s flagship product, ProjectDox.
The announcement is a renewed commitment of the long-term cooperation that exists between the two companies: Avolve Software Corporation has its corporate and technological roots in IGC, which launched Avolve in 2007 to pursue the state and local government (SLG) electronic plan review and project collaboration market. Avolve Software was spun out of IGC as a separate company in early 2009.
“This new agreement with Avolve is a homecoming of sorts; our common history, relationship and proximity, and Avolve’s clear domain expertise taken all together makes this a very exciting partnership for us,” said Gary Heath, President and CEO of IGC. “Avolve is a forward-thinking, highly focused company; they’ve established ProjectDox as the de-facto standard ePlan solution in the state and local government market. Working together and serving on the (Avolve) technology board is a unique opportunity to help expand the value of their offering as well as contribute to the future innovations of the industry,” he added.
“Fulfilling our customers’ needs translates to providing integrated technical specialization for each aspect of their business process, and dynamic, high-fidelity document publishing and visualization is a central component,” said Ron Loback, President and CEO of Avolve. “Brava is the product of choice for the top companies in the document management arena, and this agreement with IGC – their participation on our technology board and the advancements that come with it – contributes significantly to our market advantage going forward.”
