AIA Welcomes Record Number of New Members

ARLINGTON, Va., March 18 — (PRNewswire) — The Aerospace Industries Association enrolled a record nine new members at its March 17 Executive Committee meeting. The new members mark a record for AIA both in recruitment for a quarter and in the highest total membership – 114 regular members – in its history.

AIA's new members include:

Alliant Techsystems, Inc. (ATK), a leading producer of solid propulsion rocket motors, military and commercial aerostructures, missiles and satellite components to U.S. government agencies and its prime contractors and subcontractors.

ArmorWorks Enterprises, LLC, a manufacturer of high-tech military armor protection, including ceramic armor and composite armor components for a variety of aircraft and vehicle applications.

Celestica, Inc., a leading provider of electronic manufacturing services and solutions to original equipment manufacturers in the communications, consumer, enterprise computing, industrial, aerospace and defense, alternative energy and healthcare sectors in Asia, the Americas and Europe.

Deloitte Consulting, LLC, a leading provider of multi-disciplinary consulting and strategic solutions for the aerospace and defense industry.

OSI Systems, Inc., which together with its subsidiaries, designs, manufactures and sells specialized electronic systems and components for applications in homeland security, healthcare, and defense and aerospace markets worldwide.

Plexus Corporation, a provider of contract electronic design, testing, repair and manufacturing for the A&D industry, specifically commercial and defense avionics, optical sensors and missile defense systems.  

SRA International, which develops, integrates and implements civil and defense NextGen air traffic management solutions and cyber security systems, and provides aviation systems engineering services.
