EVE CEO Luc Burgun to Participate in IP-ESC’09 Panel on Transactors

EVE Exhibit to Highlight Benefits of ZeBu-Server Scalable Emulation System

SAN JOSE, Calif. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — November 23, 2009 — Luc Burgun, chief executive officer of EVE, the leader in hardware/software co-verification, will participate in a technical panel discussion on transactors during the IP-Embedded Systems Conference (IP-ESC) 2009 December 1-3 in Grenoble, France.

The panel, to be held Wednesday December 2, from 1:30-3 p.m., will be led by Laurent Ducousso, verification manager at STMicroelectronics. He will ask Burgun and four other panelists to describe how transactors can operate as the communication link between the virtual world and the implementation world of system-on-chip (SoC) verification.

Additionally, EVE will exhibit ZeBu-Server, its scalable emulation system capable of handling up to one-billion application specific integrated circuit (ASIC) gates, in booth #23. The first commercially available green emulator, it offers fast compile times that range from five- to 30-million gates per hour on PC farms, depending on the design’s complexity. ZeBu-Server can emulate a single design at a speed of up to 30 megahertz (MHz), includes a powerful debug environment and supports a wide range of verification components.
