WHO: The Open SystemC Initiative (OSCI), an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and advancing SystemC™ as an industry-standard language for electronic system-level (ESL) design, announced its annual North American SystemC User Group (NASCUG) meeting. Co-located with the Design Automation Conference (DAC), the event is free to industry professionals and the media with advance registration at: http://www.nascug.org/events/11th_agenda.html.

MORE OSCI DAC NEWS: OSCI will release additional news on SystemC standards during DAC while also participating in a number of technical and industry events. Highlights include updates from the TLM-2.0 working group on the completion of a Library Reference Manual; SystemC community response to the new AMS extensions; and the Synthesis working group is announcing the public release of a synthesis subset draft. SystemC experts will also be part of a panel discussing AMS:
