46th Design Automation Conference (DAC) Names Exhibitor Liaison Committee

BOULDER, Colo.—(BUSINESS WIRE)—November 11, 2008— The Design Automation Conference (DAC), the electronic design automation (EDA) industrys premier event, today announced the members of the 46th DAC Exhibitor Liaison Committee (ELC). The ELC members, volunteers primarily representing DAC exhibitors, advise the DAC executive committee on exhibitor-related issues. The 46th DAC will be held July 26 31, 2009 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.

This committee plays a critical role in the ongoing success of DAC by ensuring that the views of our exhibitors and our attendees are represented, said Yervant Zorian, EDA Industry Chair of the 46th DAC executive committee. The ELC is helping to drive the new IC Design Chain floorplan being introduced at the 46th DAC which will enhance the attendee experience and bring added value for exhibitors.

The committee reviews all areas of DAC, including conference operations, technical program and exhibits. The committee of 17 also provides DAC management and the executive committee with feedback and ideas for enhancing the value and success of DAC for exhibitors, vendors and conference attendees.
