The ranking, which tracks privately-held Silicon Valley companies that have reported a three-year growth in sales, was based on financial information provided by CoWare and verified by PricewaterhouseCoopers. As the leading supplier of system-level electronic design automation (EDA) software and services for system-on-chip (SoC) designers, CoWare's revenue has a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of 45 percent over the last three years.
"This ranking is one more validation of our continued success and proves CoWare is a company to watch," says Alan Naumann, CoWare president and chief executive officer (CEO). "We are giving electronics companies what they need -- an efficient and cost-effective means to design complex chips."
The listing was published as a supplement to the October 12, 2002 edition of the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal. CoWare was presented the award at a dinner ceremony held at the Fairmont Hotel in San Jose.
