According to author, architect, and long-time sustainable design innovator Doug Farr, “sustainable urbanism” entails much more than just designing green buildings. It encompasses a bigger picture of creating green neighborhoods and planning for sustainable urban growth. In his book, he explains the design reform movement and details how to implement sustainable urbanism through leadership and communication in cities, communities, and neighborhoods.
