Azuro Expands Executive Team; Appoints Vice Presidents of Product Marketing and Applications Engineering

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.—(BUSINESS WIRE)—Feb. 27, 2006— Azuro, Inc. a provider of innovative electronic design automation (EDA) tools that significantly reduce the power consumption of digital semiconductor chips, today announced the addition of two new executives to its management team: Ashutosh Mauskar, vice president of product marketing and Hazem Almusa, vice president of applications. These additions to the management team signal further expansion for Azuro, following the company's entry into the Japanese market last month.

Ashutosh Mauskar joins Azuro with 13 years of technology and marketing management experience. He holds three patents for his work in the area of low power design. Prior to joining Azuro, he was responsible for product marketing of the Encounter(R) digital IC design platform products at Cadence Design Systems, including First Encounter(R). During his tenure at Synopsys(R), Ashutosh was responsible for the rollout and adoption of PrimeTime(R) and DesignPower(R). He holds a B.E. in electronics engineering from University of Bombay and M.S. in electrical engineering from University of Arkansas.

Hazem Almusa joins Azuro with over 15 years of technology and field management experience in the EDA industry. Before joining Azuro, he served as vice president of worldwide field applications at Tera Systems and Sequence Design. Hazem was previously

with Synopsys where he held management positions in the field and professional services groups. He holds a B.S/M.S. in computer engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
