Maxar collected new satellite imagery yesterday morning (March 9, 2022) of the besieged southern Ukrainian city of Mariupol. The imagery was collected at 10:16 AM, local time. Extensive damage is noted to the civilian infrastructure in and around the city, including residential homes, high-rise apartment buildings, grocery stores and shopping centers. Note that the imagery was collected before yesterday’s reported bombing/shelling of the children’s hospital in the city.
