Sigasi, the global leader in hardware design guidance software, is upping its game. Things are changing in the semiconductor landscape, and Sigasi intends to harness its proven technological knowhow and its intimate understanding of users to ride these waves. As part of this strategy, the Board of Directors brings Dieter Therssen on board to join the leadership team and expand the business in this evolving era of digital design.
Dieter started his career as a hardware Design Engineer, using Imec's visionary tools and design methodologies in the early days of silicon integration. Since then, he developed his career across many digital technologies, in a broad range of applications and for a variety of companies. Dieter brings with him a solid track record in building B2B relationships, and a strong network in the sector.
Steven Van Hoorebeke, chairman of the Board of Directors: “After the departure of Bob Seghers, the board preferred to take the necessary time to find the right candidate. We are convinced that Dieter can bring in all the competencies and experience needed to realize the growth of Sigasi.”
Dieter Therssen: “It's an honor to be elected into this innovative and dynamic team, at a pivotal point in time for the digital industry altogether. Sigasi is a technology gem, with a strong track record, and I very much look forward to helping grasp its full potential."
Dieter will start his role as CEO of Sigasi on March 14th 2022.

Designers (and their managers) generally agree that well documented code is important. In practice, actually documenting code, documenting code well, and keeping documentation up to date doesn’t always happen.
