A new NI AWR Design Environment application note addresses the design challenges associated with developing millimeter-wave (mmWave) radar systems and antenna-array technologies for the next generation of smart cars and trucks. Examples are presented that demonstrate how the radar design capabilities within Visual System Simulator™ (VSS) system design software can be used successfully to develop advanced driver-assist system (ADAS) applications.
