Wibergh is the group technology officer and CIO of Vodafone, one of the world's largest telecommunications companies. In this capacity, he is responsible for Vodafone's network and IT strategy, architecture, operation and product development. He is also responsible for technology security and customer data protection strategy.

Before joining Vodafone, Wibergh held a variety of senior-level management positions at Ericsson, where he was most recently responsible for the networks product business. He also served on the board and audit committee of ST-Ericsson, a 50/50 joint venture between Ericsson and STMicroelectronics. Prior to Ericsson, he held several management positions in IT industry-related businesses.
Wibergh currently serves as the chairman of the Next Generation Mobile Network (NGMN) Alliance, which is comprised of leading mobile operators, contributing companies and research institutes. He previously served on the board of the Royal Technical University in Stockholm as well as the board of The Association for Technology Companies in Sweden.
Wibergh holds a Masters in Computer Science from Linköping University in Sweden.
