Peroni Nastro Azzurro Is Premier Sponsor Of The 2016 LA Film Festival, Produced By Film Independent

Returning as the Festival's University Sponsor, Loyola Marymount University School of Film and Television (SFTV) will sponsor the previously mentioned Future Filmmakers Showcase and Luncheon. Additionally, they will be sponsoring the Festival's Documentary Competition, the Women Behind the Lens: Spotlight on Cinematographers Panel, the annual Fast Track Finance Market and the Awards Reception. Ranked as one of the top 10 film schools in the U.S. by The Hollywood Reporter, Loyola Marymount University School of Film and Television (SFTV) in Los Angeles offers undergraduate degrees in animation, production, screenwriting and recording arts; and graduate degrees in production, screenwriting, and writing and producing for television. On June 4 Diversity Speaks, sponsored by HBO and Loyola Marymount University School of Film and Television, supported by Yvonne Huff Lee and Jason Delane Lee | Lagralane Group and Latino Public Broadcasting and hosted by Blackhouse, will feature a full day of conversations with industry executives and filmmakers around diversity.

HBO and the Montana Film Office will sponsor the Filmmaker Reception on the Festival Lawn on Friday, June 3. Film L.A., Inc. will sponsor the Limelight screening of Lights Out on June 8.

The Los Angeles Athletic Club returns for the fifth year as the 2016 Official Host Hotel. With a multi-million dollar hotel renovation, the new Hotel at The Los Angeles Athletic Club (LAAC) has unveiled 72 renovated urban chic hotel rooms with nine distinctively themed suites.

The annual Coffee Talks, sponsored by Ovation will take place on June 5 at The Culver Hotel. The Directors panel is sponsored by Directors Guild of America, the Actors panel is sponsored by SAGindie, and the Screenwriters panel is sponsored by Writers Guild of America, West.

The LA Film Festival offers several free screenings, open to the public including Ghostbusters on June 3 and Independence Day on June 4. The two screenings, sponsored by Arts Brookfield, will be held at FIGat7th.
