Laguna Hills, CA, Sep 14, 2015 -- The City of Anaheim has selected the Mapplet and Field Mapplet Suite in support of its Enterprise systems data access. The project will include integrations with the cities' SCADA, Customer Information System, Outage Management System, and will handle the mobile workflows for distribution. Mapplet Suite is an enterprise-wide GIS solution which enables the City to view and analyze data from different sources and applications under a GIS enabled interface. In addition to viewing and analysis of the data, Mapplet enables the City staff to use a simple GIS based tool to view work orders for managing the maintenance of their facilities.

The City of Anaheim's implementation of Spatial Wave's Mapplet and Field Mapplet will facilitate the timely and accurate capture, documentation, and distribution of network asset information to the entire workforce. and will provide spatially enabled web portal, information analysis, and map production. Mapplet and Field Mapplet will help staff of the City of Anaheim to further enhance customer service, SCADA data analysis and mobile workflow processes. Spatial Wave’s Mapplet and Field Mapplet will be used to leverage the GIS data to support the City’s day-to-day business operations. “Mapplet and Field Mapplet will help the City to view the information, analyze the data, and initiate actions needed to manage the City assets – all from one GIS enabled platform”, said Dr. Ali Diba, President of Spatial Wave.

The work on this project is being performed by Spatial Wave under a subcontract to Westin Engineering who provided the overall project management and SCADA services.
