The RL78/G1F lineup comprises 20 product versions with pin counts from 24 to 64 pins and flash memory capacities of 32 KB or 64 KB. Samples are available now. Pricing varies depending on memory capacity, package and number of pins. For example, the R511BGCAFB MCU with 32 KB of flash memory, 5.5 KB of RAM and 4 KB data flash equipped on a QFP (quad flat package) with 48 pins is priced at US$1.10 per unit in sample quantities of 10,000. Mass production is scheduled to begin in July 2015 and is expected to reach a scale of 1,000,000 units per month in December 2016. (Pricing and availability are subject to change without notice.)
