AirIQ Announces Enhanced Map Overlay Features

TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- Jan 08, 2015 -- AirIQ Inc. ("AirIQ" or "the Company") (TSX VENTURE: IQ), a supplier of wireless asset management services, today announced the launch of two new enhanced map overlay features for Customers. The new overlays include third party traffic information and GPS oilfield locations and road information for Canadian oil and gas companies. These enhancements, combined with AirIQ's existing asset tracking information, offer improved asset management and routing in near real- time and on changing conditions, leading to improved fleet efficiency and safety.

Traffic overlay allows customers to see in real time where their AirIQ devices are and the current traffic situation. This will allow customers to reroute a driver if necessary and to more efficiently run their business. The traffic overlay is available to all customers and, once turned on, simply overlays onto AirIQ's existing maps.

The new oil and gas map overlay is perfect for customers navigating the oilfields in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta or British Columbia. Once again, with the click of a button, the feature simply overlays on AirIQ's existing maps and provides customers with well, compressor or plant sites, as well as road information including kilometer posts. The benefit of this technology is efficiency in transportation of personnel and equipment, plus increased safety for workers.

"These added features empower fleet managers with important information that can be accessed seamlessly from any location," said Michael Robb, President and Chief Executive Officer of AirIQ. "With the new overlay features, AirIQ provides operators with a more complete view of their assets, allowing them to quickly manage and re-route their fleets to save time, fuel and money."
