The iaedp Foundation encouraging national and international treatment centers and private practices to submit

PEKIN, Ill., Dec. 4, 2014 — (PRNewswire) — With only two weeks left to participate, the annual "Imagine Me Beyond What You See" Body Image Mannequin Art Competition is calling for entries - art therapists, new and experienced artists - who share the creative expression and the emotion often felt by those who understand what having an eating disorder is all about. In its fifth year, the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals Foundation (iaedp™) also announces this year's new Imagine Me lead sponsor, ASCENDchc Behavioral Health Care.

Entries are judged on clarity of theme, creativity and originality, quality of composition and design and the overall impression and presentation, and mixed mediums may be used on the mannequin. The winning mannequin entries will be announced at the 2015 iaedp Symposium in Phoenix during March 19 - 22.  Mannequins can be male or female forms in different body shapes and sizes. Entries must be electronically submitted to iaedp using photographs in jpeg format, high (300+) resolution files for enlargement, photos showing four different angles and agree to sign an artist release. The winner receives a special customized award, cash prize and the mannequin image highlighted throughout the year.
