Breker Verification Systems Becomes Synopsys VIA Access Program Member

SAN JOSE, CA -- (Marketwired) -- May 28, 2014 -- Breker Verification Systems, a System-on-Chip (SoC) Verification Company, has become a member of Synopsys' Verdi® Interoperable Apps (VIA) Access Program.

By joining the VIA Access Program, Breker will integrate its TrekSoC™ family of software to generate self-verifying C test cases to run on embedded processors with Synopsys' Verdi solution, the industry leading, open debug platform. The integration will allow users to move seamlessly between TrekSoC's graphical user interface (GUI) and the Verdi environment to further ease verification debug on SoC designs.

From a graph-based scenario model, TrekSoC automatically generates C test cases to run on the SoC's embedded processors in simulation. TrekSoC's TrekBox™ run-time component provides a GUI for verification engineers to visualize generated C code and test case maps. The integration with Verdi using the VIA interface will allow users to move seamlessly between TrekBox and the Verdi environment. The integration will ease debug when a test case fails and the design's register transfer level (RTL) code, testbench components, and the C test case generated by TrekSoC need to be examined simultaneously.

Breker will demonstrate the link between TrekSoC and Verdi in Booth #2602 during the 51st Design Automation Conference (DAC) Monday, June 2, through Wednesday, June 4, from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
