Gilbane Building Company Uses Textura--CPM on First Project in Ireland

Innovation and Technical Centre project marks the first time Textura has been used in Ireland.

CHICAGO, Oct. 17, 2013 — (PRNewswire) —   Textura Corporation (NYSE: TXTR), the leading provider of collaboration solutions for the construction industry, announced that a division of Gilbane Building Company, Gilbane Ireland Ltd., is using Textura CPM—Enterprise on the Kerry's Group new Global Innovation and Technical Centre in Dublin Ireland.  This is first time Textura collaboration solutions have been used in Ireland.

"We are using Textura—CPM to help us manage the accounting from our US office while the project team is in Ireland," said William Gilbane Jr., President and Chief Operating Officer, Gilbane Building Company.  "Textura helps us share information from Ireland to the US and back again.  We have more visibility into the project from the home office without actually having to have people there on the ground."

Gilbane Building Company is one of the largest privately held family-owned real estate development and construction firms in the industry, with more than 60 office locations across the globe.  Gilbane Building Company first started using Textura—CPM for its operations in the United States in 2009.

A web-based solution, Textura—CPM Enterprise electronically integrates all construction payment management processes, including billing, lien waiver collection, compliance management and payments into one seamless flow.  Project stakeholders with an internet connection can access project information in real-time to monitor the status of a project and make better business decisions.  By automating processes and moving them online, Textura—CPM eliminates manual processes, reduces the amount of paper involved in the payment process and increases efficiency.

To help Gilbane manage this international project, Textura—CPM auto-generates subcontractor documentation to ensure that forms are filled out and calculated correctly, reducing the chance of errors.  Using EFT through Textura—CPM, Gilbane is paying subcontractors on this project electronically in Euros.

"We are very excited to see our collaboration solutions being used in Ireland by a world-wide leader in the construction industry," said Patrick Allin, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Textura Corporation.  "This is a milestone for our company. We look forward to further expansion of our global business."
