Its largest computer-aided dispatch (CAD) deployment to date helps streamline incident management and enhances officer safety

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — August 26, 2013Motorola Solutions, Inc. (NYSE: MSI) announces a new go-live of PremierOne™ 3.2.1 computer-aided dispatch (CAD) system for the Washington State Patrol, including the implementation of PremierOne Responder Location and the ASTRO®25 Advanced Messaging Solution. All eight regional communication centers for Washington State Patrol are now live and operational on PremierOne CAD along with approximately 1,200 mobile users utilizing the Motorola Premier MDC (Mobile Data Computing) application.

A long-standing customer of Motorola, the Washington State Patrol required a solution that would help evolve current operations to a higher level of performance while providing a solid technology platform for the future. The implementation of Motorola’s Integrated Command and Control solution provides substantial improvement and access to mission-critical information, enhancing trooper safety and empowering officers to make faster, smarter decisions while introducing new, time-saving functionality to end-users.
