AIA CEO Robert Ivy to Discuss AEC Trends in His Keynote Speech at BUILDINGChicago/Greening the Heartland Conference

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL -- (Marketwired) -- Aug 14, 2013 -- Robert Ivy, CEO of the American Institute of Architects, will deliver his keynote speech, "Current Directions, Future Trends in the AEC Industry," on Tuesday, September 10, at the BUILDINGChicago/Greening the Heartland Conference.

Ivy's keynote speech will include an update on the progress with the AIA 2030 Commitment program along with a review of AIA's new BIM and digital documents program, including program management documents. A free guide to AIA contract documents for small projects will be available to seminar attendees. Ivy also will offer a perspective on how the architecture profession is faring in the current economic climate. He previews his keynote topics in a video at www.buildingchicagoexpo.com.
