Sanford, April 2013:  Mobile311, LLC, a software design and development company, is relocating its headquarters from Cary, NC to Sanford, NC. 

The company is moving to a storefront at 2501 Jefferson Davis Hwy.  Mobile311 designs software platforms and applications that integrate GIS operations into flexible, user-friendly solutions. 

Mobile311 is best known for its municipal applications; namely ConnectGIS web hosting and its namesake, the Mobile311 smartphone app.  “We are excited to have our own dedicated space since our 2009 spin-off from Withers & Ravenel Engineering,” said Chuck Wright, President of Mobile311.  He added, “This move reflects our overall growth”.

Sanford and Lee County, in fact, have been clients of Mobile311 for years and use ConnectGIS web hosting to display their public-facing GIS data.
