December 3, 2012 – Hundreds of entrants dropped their business cards into our MCADCafe booth’s ‘card can’ over the three days of Autodesk University 2012, and on Thursday afternoon, right before the exhibit hall closed we asked a passerby to turn his head, close his eyes and pull out a winning card.  And, the winning entrant is Patrick Birlew!

Patrick Birlew is the co-president and head of 3D animation and visual-effects at Babs Do Productions, an independent film production company in Las Vegas, Nevada. The company specializes in 3D animation and motion capture filmmaking and has several projects in development for film, web, and TV. Patrick is a 3D generalist extraordinaire utilizing a wide variety of software with Autodesk Maya as his primary application of choice.

Congratulations go out to Patrick who’ll now be reading books and surfing the web with his new Kindle Fire HD.
