Gehry Technologies CTO Dennis Shelden to Speak at the 2012 AEC Technology Strategies Conference

LOS ANGELES, CA -- (Marketwire) -- Jun 04, 2012 -- Gehry Technologies (GT), a global leader in applying technology to building industry challenges, today announces that CTO Dennis Shelden will speak on Concurrent Design/Large Scale Collaboration at the 2012 AEC Technology Strategies Conference. His session will take place on Wednesday, June 6th from 10:00-10:45 in Cambridge, MA.

"The AEC Technology Strategies Conference brings together some of the leading figures in the discipline. During my session I hope to foster a discussion of broad relevance to the community around emerging models of concurrent design and web paradigms that support new collaborative methods," said Dr. Shelden.

Dennis Shelden is a Founder and the CTO of Gehry Technologies, as well as an Associate Professor of the Practice in Design and Computation at MIT. He joined Gehry Partners in 1997 and became director of the firm's computation efforts in 2000, where he was responsible for the management and strategic direction of the firm's technology efforts, prior to co-founding GT in 2002.

ZweigWhite's annual AEC Technology Conference gives IT professionals -- and those who are responsible for making decisions about technology systems and applications in AEC firms -- a forum to share ideas, learn about how other firms are using technology to improve business performance, and exchange information about the unique management challenges IT professionals are facing. Conference attendees include CIOs, CTOs, VPs of Technology, IT Directors, and other principals and technology managers from AEC firms, as well as market analysts, consultants, writers, and other pundits who advise AEC firms on technology trends.
