GTG will be holding their 10 Ways to Improve Your Public Safety Using GIS Workshop on Wednesday, August 31, from 10:15-11:30 a.m. at the conference.

This session is designed to give the Public Safety Administrator and GIS Coordinator 10 ways to maximize the investment in 911 and GIS to produce highly efficient and effective mapping tools which depend on accurate GIS data.  Attendees will be given the overall scope of how GIS data is used and developed for use in a 911 public safety mapping application such as crime/incident mapping, dispatch, fires and EMS incident mapping, address management, mobile and AVL, and public access tools.

The workshop is being held at numerous conferences and municipalities throughout the county and continues to be one of the most popular workshops for public safety and GIS professionals.
