TROY, Mich., July 19, 2011 -- Dimensional Control Systems, Inc. (DCS), provider of dimensional engineering software solutions and consulting services, today announced that Sales and Business Development Vice President Donald Jasurda will address more than 700 coordinate metrology systems (CMS) professionals at the Coordinate Metrology Systems Conference (CMSC). The event will be held at the Arizona Biltmore Hotel and Spa in Phoenix, Arizona from July 25-29.
Jasurda's presentation is scheduled for 8 a.m. on July 27. He will focus on “Applying Measurement Data to Engineering Process Improvement.” Specifically, he will describe how CMS professionals can maximize their use of measurement data, gathered through the dimensional engineering process, in order to reduce costs, improve quality, and shorten their time to market.
The CMSC brings together coordinate metrology systems (CMS) professionals from around the globe to share knowledge of the latest innovations in the field of portable 3D industrial measurement technologies. Attendees represent aerospace, defense, automotive and other manufacturing industries.
"I am pleased to have been invited to address these CMS experts," said Jasurda, who also served as a featured speaker at last year’s CMSC in Nevada.
"The case has never been greater for having a well-defined dimensional engineering process that enables the collection and analysis of relevant, meaningful variation measurements at every stage from design through production,” he noted. “I look forward to providing guidance to help attendees maximize their use of such measurement data.”
