Esri uses ScienceLogic EM7 to manage IT operations out of its headquarters in Redlands, Calif., as well as monitor its Microsoft Exchange servers companywide. Esri plans to expand EM7 monitoring to its nine regional offices across the U.S. to help ensure optimum business service delivery across its infrastructure. In addition, Esri intends to use the built-in ScienceLogic cloud management capabilities to ensure its efficient use of public cloud services, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), and keep costs in check through the ScienceLogic EM7 real-time cloud cost calculator.

Esri cited the ScienceLogic EM7 product's comprehensiveness as a key factor in its decision to deploy the technology. Other vendors offer multiple modules to get the same functionality and require customers to buy each one separately with different cost structures. ScienceLogic sells all functionality in one platform for one price and provides any new functionality to the customer automatically, as part of their maintenance.
