  • Navigation Systems for Commercial Vehicles: Saving Time, Fuel and Money
Presented by the ATA Policy & Regulatory Affairs Department
The savings from truck navigation systems can be significant, and they go straight to your bottom line. State-of-the-art navigation systems permit drivers to more easily avoid congestion and accidents, switch effortlessly to alternate routes, and even scout the road ahead for the most economical fuel options. This session will feature a panel discussion with hands-on advice about choosing a navigation system and a bottom-line perspective on the potential gains in productivity, costs, and customer satisfaction.

“We are excited to be in our sixth year exhibiting at the ATA Conference, and we will continue to collaborate with our customers to bring solutions that will further benefit the fleet community,” said Roy Kolstad, vice president, Enterprise Americas, NAVTEQ. “NAVTEQ map data and content combined with our customers’ innovative navigation solutions can help organizations increase fleet productivity and improve routing efficiency by utilizing truck-specific road attributes.”
