API License allows Femco to manufacture components used in drilling and fracking

PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa., Sept. 27 — (PRNewswire) — Femco Holdings, LLC (Femco), a leader in the custom manufacturing of gas & oil drilling and production components, announced today that the American Petroleum Institute (API) has authorized them to use the Official API Monogram on additional parts they manufacture for the oil & gas industry at a PSL 1 level.

"This is a wonderful milestone for the company in that it allows Femco the increased ability to better serve our oil and gas customers, not just in the Marcellus Shale area, but all over the world where oil and gas drilling rigs and fracking operations need replacement parts," said Pete Grundberg, Femco's Vice-President of Sales & Marketing. Femco previously had API certification on Other End Connectors.  The additional certification now allows them to also apply the API monogram on Bullplugs at PSL 1, Top Connectors, Tees & Crosses, Adapters and Spacer Spools, Threaded Connectors and Valve Removal Plugs.
