After having been widely accepted in the automotive industry as a critical technology to accelerate product engineering, high-density non-contact 3D digitizer sales are quickly expanding in new industrial market segments and applications. With the multiplicity of measurement principles and 3D digitizing hardware manufacturers, it is often not an easy task for manufacturing organizations to evaluate which hardware technology will best meet their 3D metrology needs.
