Optech Adopts Blue Marble’s Coordinate Transformation and LiDAR Conversion Solutions

Gardiner, Maine — July 15, 2010 — Blue Marble Geographics ( www.bluemarblegeo.com) is pleased to announce that mobile mapping industry leader, Optech Incorporated, have licensed Blue Marble technology to be integrated within their mobile/airborne mapping system packages.

The agreement between Optech and Blue Marble solidifies the recent adoption of both the GeoCalc & GeoTranslate developer libraries for inclusion within Optech’s survey and mapping solution software. Optech plans to fully integrate all Blue Marble libraries within their software and systems. By leveraging Blue Marble’s expertise, Optech will be providing their customers with reliable and flexible LiDAR processing solutions for many years to come.
