Sterling, VA, June 2010 – Infotech Enterprises America recently announced the opening of a domestic production center, reorganization of the geospatial division, as well as promotions of key personnel. All actions are part of Infotech’s growth plan that has been developed and implemented over the past five (5) years. The catalyst for implementing this next phase of the plan was several multi-million dollar awards awaiting final negotiations. As we have more than quadrupled in capacity and revenue since 2005, Infotech is geared up for the next five years setting our sights high on accelerated growth and continued success.

Anticipating this growth and preparing for expansion, Infotech has been taking the right steps in building our organization. Infotech has opened a Center of Excellence (CoE) in Dallas, Georgia, just Northwest of Atlanta to accommodate onshore production requirements. Data services will be the initial work that Infotech will perform with plans to add to our geospatial offerings as well as expand our engineering services.

With growth, comes the need for additional resources. Our division hired Jeff Jones as the Production Manager for our new CoE. He has over 26 years of experience focusing mainly on the Telecom domain and will be the primary point of contact. Our new CoE will be occupied by approximately 25 – 30 resources, which began production at the end of May 2010. In addition to our new Production Manager and technicians for our Georgia CoE, Infotech has added to our sales and management team. Infotech recently appointed Dan Beasley as Senior Account Manager. With over 20 years of experience, Dan will manage the consulting and business development activities within the Utility industry.

The need to support our client’s demand for pre-sales consulting as well as production management has resulted in an organizational change as well. Enabling our team to become more successful, our reorganization efforts were based around decision making and accountability. Two of our Senior Account Managers have been elevated to Senior Directors. Jeff Nash, who has over 19 years of experience, was promoted to the Director of Utility Sales and Karen Smith, with over 20 years of experience, was promoted to the Director of Telecom Sales. For additional continued support in the Telco vertical, Infotech has elevated Ron Cromer from Program Manager to Program Director. Ron has over 26 years of experience and will be working closely with Jeff Jones adding additional value to our new North America CoE. The last of our most recent organizational changes involves Bob Montgomery who, has over 32 years of experience, is now Infotech’s Business Development Director. Jeff Nash and Karen Smith will report directly to Bob.

Infotech plans to expand the Americas team further in the coming months. Infotech is continuing with our strategy by preparing our organization not only for accelerated growth, but also to provide engineering and geospatial solutions in areas such as Smart Grid, Fiber Design, Distribution Integrity Management Program (DIMP), and Telecom Engineering. According to our Business Development Director, Bob Montgomery, “adding the additional resources and necessary changes to our Sales and Management Teams is the direction Infotech needs to take to keep up with the ever changing industry demands as well as our client’s needs.
