This is the third consecutive year that ASCENT has received the Inventor certification from Autodesk. Digital Prototyping with Autodesk Inventor software gives manufacturers the ability to digitally design, visualize and simulate how a product will work under real world conditions before it is built, which helps reduce cost and speed time to market. Being listed as Inventor Certified on Autodesk’s certified product website indicates that ASCENT’s courseware has met Autodesk’s highest standards for product compatibility and quality.

Additional material aimed at increasing efficiency is also included: iFeatures for frequently needed design elements, iParts for similar designs, iLogic for automating part designs, and translation options for importing data. With an understanding of these tools, students can begin to streamline the design process.
