PTC Windchill to Improve GE Healthcare’s Product Lifecycle Management
NEEDHAM, Mass. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — January 12, 2010 — PTC (Nasdaq: PMTC), The Product Development Company®, today announced that GE Healthcare, a unit of General Electric Company, has selected Windchill, PTC’s PLM software, and Pro/ENGINEER to replace its legacy data management and MCAD software. PTC’s solutions will support GE Healthcare in achieving their product development goals.
Medical device manufacturers face tough challenges, including the demand for constant innovation, compliance with strict regulatory requirements, time-to-market pressures and intense competition.
