HERNDON, Va. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — December 17, 2009 — Deltek, Inc. (Nasdaq: PROJ), the leading provider of enterprise applications software and solutions for project-focused businesses, announced today that it has appointed Michael Corkery as its new Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), commencing January 5, 2010.

Mr. Corkery brings 25 years of experience to Deltek, most recently as CFO and Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for ICO Global Communications, a global satellite communications company. In this role, Mr. Corkery led ICO’s day to day operational and financial activities as well as those of its subsidiary, DBSD North America, Inc.

Prior to ICO Global Communications, Mr. Corkery held various senior financial and operational executive positions for a variety of leading technology companies. He was CFO of Current Group, LLC, a company providing innovative smart grid solutions to utility companies worldwide. In addition, Mr. Corkery served as Vice President, Operations Finance at Nextel Communications. Before Nextel, he also held the positions of CFO for Berliner Communications, VP of Market Finance for XO Communications, and Vice President, Business Planning & Analysis for AT&T Wireless.
