Conference also adds Social Media Chair to respond to growing demand for information
Boulder, CO - December 15, 2009 - The 18th annual Design and Verification Conference (DVCon), sponsored by Accellera, has put together an Advance Program that promises to offer 2010 attendees new and fresh ideas for the functional design and verification of digital electronic systems. Because of the valuable breadth of material to be offered, the conference has added a fourth day. DVCon will be held Monday, February 22 through Thursday, February 25 at the DoubleTree Hotel in San Jose, California.
The DVCon website has been updated to include the advance program and registration information. There are three sponsored tutorials on Monday and four on Tuesday. The keynote, "Breaking through the Efficiency Barrier," will be presented by Lip-Bu Tan, president and CEO of Cadence Design Systems, on Wednesday, February 24 at 2:00 pm in the Oak/Fir Ballroom. A new panel of industry experts, "What keeps you up at Night?" will follow the keynote. The complete technical program and the current list of exhibitors are also available on the conference website www.dvcon.org.
In response to growing interest and evolving ways to get information, DVCon has also added a new position to its Steering Committee this year. Karen Bartleson, a committee member for over six years is the Social Media Chair for the conference. "We are offering those interested in DVCon a variety of ways to get information and follow the latest developments," stated Bartleson. "We have a number of blogs listed on our website and a community of followers on Twitter. If you comment about DVCon on Twitter or want to follow the community, please use the hashtag, #DVCon, so posts can be easily found in the conversation."
