ADC WorldMap Releases Digital Atlas Version 5.3

Release includes new and updated layers, increased features, improved attribution, and more road mileage

Appleton, WI-USA – November 11, 2009 – ADC WorldMap , a leader in providing comprehensive, current, and seamless geographic digital data for the whole earth, is pleased to announce the release of ADC WorldMap Digital Atlas Version 5.3. Along with providing up to date country and level one administrative boundaries for the entire world, the release features the addition of an ocean bathymetry layer, improved contours, more cities with population data, and increased US road coverage. The new product also includes UTM zones and ISO country and administrative codes.

Customers will find improved and consistent contours which were created from SRTM data (Shuttle Radar Terrain Model). The addition of UTM zones and ISO codes were also initiated through customer feedback.”
