Monrovia, California, November 9, 2009-- Tanner EDA, a leading provider of analog, mixed-signal (A/MS) and MEMS electronic design automation (EDA) tools, announced today that Hamed Emami has joined the company as VP Sales. Previously, Hamed was VP Sales at Magma Design Automation (San Jose, CA) and was responsible for sales and operations in Japan.

Prior to joining Tanner EDA and Magma, Hamed was VP Sales at AXIOM Design Automation, Milpitas, CA and Tera Systems, Campbell, CA. He has an MBA from Santa Clara University and a BSEE from UC San Diego.
