Dual-channel, bipolar-input amplifier delivers leading sound in pro audio applications
Key features and benefits of the OPA1612
-- Bipolar input achieves very low 1.1-nV square root Hz noise density with an ultra-low distortion of 0.000015 percent at 1 kHz to enable clear, crisp audio -- Rail-to-rail output swing to within 600 mV with a 2 Ohm load increases headroom and maximizes dynamic range -- Widest supply operation range of +/-2.25 V to +/-18 V from only 3.6 mA of supply current per channel provides excellent dynamic behavior over a wide range of load conditions -- Independent circuitry delivers lowest crosstalk and freedom from interactions between channels, even when overdriven or overloaded -- Seamless connectivity to TI audio converters (PCM17xx and PCM16xx) and microphone preamplifiers (PGA2500 and PGA2505) reduces time-to-market
Availability and pricing
The OPA1612 is available today in an SO-8 package for $2.75 in 1,000-unit quantities. The OPA1611 single-channel device is also available today in an SO-8 package at $1.75.
