Post Logic Studios Director of Audio Terrence Dwyer has been nominated for a 2009 Creative Arts Emmy® Award in the category of Outstanding Sound Mixing For Non-fiction Programming for his contributions to reality show “Survivor.” The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (ATAS) will announce the winner at the 61st Creative Arts Emmy Awards on September 12 at the Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles.

As Director of Audio/Supervising Re-recording Mixer at Post Logic Studios, a division of Prime Focus Group, industry veteran Dwyer boasts an extensive background in reality television and over three decades experience as an audio mixer and sound designer. For the last 12 years Dwyer has worked on top reality television shows including “Survivor,” “Fear Factor, “Kid Nation,” “American Gladiators,” “Wipeout” and “Dating in the Dark.”

In 2001, Dwyer received his first Emmy Award for outstanding sound mixing on “Survivor,” and went on to garner three additional nominations. In 2008, Dwyer received his second Emmy in the news and documentary category for “Operation Homecoming: Writing the Wartime Experience.”
