Accellera Invites EDA Community to Its Free and Open Standards Events at the Design Automation Conference in San Francisco, Tuesday, July 28, 2009

SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- Jul 06, 2009 -- Accellera, the electronics industry organization focused on Electronic Design Automation (EDA) standards, will be at the Design Automation Conference (DAC09) in San Francisco and will host and co-host four free and open events on Tuesday, July 28, 2009. These events include an Accellera and SpringSoft-sponsored breakfast and panel titled "Frontiers in Verification: Coverage, Closure and Beyond," technical sessions addressing the IEEE 1801 standard for low-power design and the proposed 2009 SystemVerilog standard, as well as an event, co-hosted by Accellera and The SPIRIT Consortium that celebrates and covers details about the organizations' recently announced merger plans and is sponsored by Cadence Design Systems, Denali and Synopsys.
