June 01, 2009 -- Farragut Systems, an industry-leading firm specializing on using GIS technology and consulting services to improve the integration of local government systems, is proud to announce its rebirth as an independent firm. Since its founding in 1994, Farragut has provided its local government customers with cutting edge integration services and industry-leading products.
These products include ParcelSync (an integrated Parcel Maintenance Application that integrates GIS and CAMA data maintenance), AddressOne (an Enterprise Addressing system for local government), and DocAtlas (an integrated Sharepoint/GIS applications that allows documents to be managed and accessed through a map-based interface).
Farragut is a Microsoft Gold Partner and a long-standing ESRI Business Partner with a unique combination of deep skills and product technology in both GIS and system integration. The new company’s vision is to be the market leader in using GIS technology to help departmental applications work better together.
Farragut Systems purchased back the GIS integration products, related customer support, and implementation agreements from Hart InterCivic’s GeoContent Solutions division. The new Farragut will again be lead by the original principals Mike Wierzbinski, Bill Campbell, and Greg Anderson, and will be based in Colorado.
Farragut’s organization and leadership will ensure the success of each customer’s integrated solution, and provide exciting new opportunities for its customers. As a premier provider of GIS-based integration products and services, Farragut has well established partnerships with many of the leading local government software providers, and will concentrate on further developing and expanding these relationships.
